THE MOST REALISTIC SOUND
The MP7’s class-leading Responsive Hammer II keyboard delivers one of the most authentic playing experiences available in a stage piano. However, a great action counts for almost nothing if the sound quality doesn’t measure up. Fortunately, superb sound is another area where the MP7 truly shines, with premium voices that cover a stage performer’s ever need.Stunning acoustic pianos, cherished vintage EPs, classic tonewheel organs, and a wide range of other inspiring subsidiary voices. The flexible MP7 features more sample memory than all of its predecessors combined, with a brand new digital signal processor providing some of the most realistic reverbs, resonances, and effects ever heard in a portable stage board.
The MP7’s 256 onboard sounds are separated into eight distinctive categories: PIANO, E.PIANO, DRAWBAR, ORGAN, STRINGS/VOCAL, BRASS/WIND, PAD/SYNTH, and BASS/GUITAR. Each sound category features 8 sub-categories, with a further four tonal variations for each.
Organising the instrument’s sounds in this way simplifies patch selection during live performances, and provides a clear, visual representation of the currently selected sound. It also forms a central part of the MP7’s powerful 4-zone functionality, allowing multiple sounds to be intuitively layered together, split, or assigned to a custom key range directly from the panel.
